This is Dr. Hembree from McCormick County School District with an important message. We wanted to inform everyone that we will return to face-to-face instruction on Monday, September 13, 2021. We will also resume all after-school activities, athletic practices and events at this time.
While students have been participating in virtual instruction, we have been hard at work putting extra safety precautions in place. This includes the deep cleaning of each classroom, disinfectant spraying by a professional company, and installation of plexiglass in all classrooms and common areas.
As we return to school on Monday, we will remain vigilant in our procedures and protocols we have in place in the district to further mitigate any spread of COVID-19. You can find the comprehensive list on our district website.
Please continue to contact our district nurse if you or your child come in contact with COVID-19. You may reach Nurse Batchelor at 864-443-2292.
Lastly, please note that we strongly recommend the wearing of masks by all students and staff. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority, and we sincerely appreciate your support of these efforts.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your child’s school or the district office.
Have a wonderful weekend, and stay safe and well.
