Weekly Information from Mrs. Wideman

Week of 10-11-21 addendum

Good afternoon, Parents, Guardian, & Students.

This is Gena K. Wideman, your middle and high school principal.

We are returning to school from our two-week intercession!

It is HOMECOMING Week @ MHS.  The CHIEFS will host Ware Shoals on Friday, October 15, 2021.  While we are working to build up to the big game, check out our Facebook and Webpages for the weekly festivities as well as other events taking place this week.  Use the link to the athletic page for game day tickets.  The middle school will join in the weekly festivities with MHS.

Students remember:  Jeans are not allowed on Monday.  If jeans are apart of you homecoming week outfit, they may be worn the remainder of the week within dress code (no holes, rips, tears, etc.)  If you choose not to participate in the homecoming festivities, you must be in normal UNIFORM dress code.

Parent University will be held the next 3- Thursdays; Oct. 14th, Oct. 21st, Oct. 28th.  MES parents are invited to attend 9:30-11:00 and MMS parents are invited to attend 11:15-12:30.  Please visit MCSD/ Your child's school Facebook page to get more information and register to attend.  Door prizes and lunch will be provided.  Don't miss this opportunity to eat and learn with your child. Space is limited due to COVID.

Lastly, we will show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness month by wearing pink.  Students, you may wear a pink POLO shirt, pullover, or jacket any day in the month of October as we show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness.  Remember, the pink POLO shirt, jacket, or pullover, must be plain and in accordance with the dress code, to include NO HOODIES.   The only difference is the color.

Thank you.  Have a great evening.
